WE WELCOMED DESIGNERS FROM THE COSTA DEL SOL TO BENJAMIN MOORE STORE TO PRESENT THE COLOR OF THE YEAR 2024: BLUE NOVA 825
The Color Trends 2024 Palette Exhibits Infinite Color Possibilities for the Home
Benjamin Moore España hosted an event for Costa del Sol designers, unveiling its Color of the Year 2024, Blue Nova 825. An enticing fusion of blue and violet, inspired by the brilliance of a newly formed star, Blue Nova beckons us to undiscovered places in pursuit of new experiences.

Andrea Magno, Director of Color Marketing and Development at Benjamin Moore, noted that Blue Nova 825 is a captivating mid-tone, balancing depth and mystery with classic charm and confidence. The Color Trends 2024 palette narrates a tale of duality – juxtaposing light against dark, warmth against coolness, showcasing complementary and contrasting color combinations. These contrasts invite us to break away from the ordinary, explore new places, and gather color memories that shape the hues used in our homes.

Benjamin Moore España unveiled this space- inspired color at its flagship store in Marbella. Among the presentation's attendees were interior designers, architects, and the most devoted fans of the American paint brand. Specifically for this evening, the store's interior and snack table were adorned with floral arrangements in shades of blue, and guests were treated to blue-themed snacks. As the party concluded, attendees were gifted collectible white T-shirts featuring the brand logo and the name of Spain's most popular white color by Benjamin Moore - White Dove OC-17.

Bringing Blue Nova 825 home in Marbella
This nuanced blue earns its Color of the Year title by working across radically different rooms — a moody guest bedroom, a fresh family kitchen, a saturated study. In Marbella, we see it paired most successfully with travertine flooring, brushed brass fixtures, and warm-toned natural fibres. For maximum staying power under intense Mediterranean light, request Aura® in matte for the main wall and Advance® alkyd in semi-gloss for trim and cabinetry. Visit our boutique at Calle Dublín 21 to see Blue Nova 825 swatched alongside the rest of the Blue family — it sits very differently next to deeper navy versus a softer ocean tone.
